Town Palms Motel is located in the very centre of Murwillumbah. It is close to many of Murwillumbah's main attractions. The motel is positioned between the Commonwealth Bank and the old State Bank and opposite the Southern Cross Credit Union. This enables our guests to park their vehicle undercover and then walk to everything within the town. Hotels, cafes, restaurants, clubs, post office, Council, swimming pool, shopping centre and riverside parks are all located nearby.

The rooms have been refurbished, some with suites from the Marriot Resort Gold coast which has raised the standard of the establishment to a very high level. Undercover parking has been revamped with modern colours and improved lighting and cleanliness. The motel was renamed Town Palms Motel to reflect the amount of palms and other tropical plants introduced particularly as an entry statement with additional palms to be planted as balconies are added to the premises.

The motel is manned 24 hours with an onsite manager and security patrols are undertaken nightly by Tweed Security Service to ensure client satisfaction.

Rooms have been improved by fitting flat screen remote televisions with DVD players and microwaves to compliment the usual toasters, air-conditioning, fans, refrigerators, coffee making facilities and cutlery/crockery supplied. There are additional fold up beds available to the rooms for children if required.

Murwillumbah is set amongst five World Heritage-listed National Parks. Closest to Murwillumbah are the Mt Warning National Park and the Border Ranges National Park. In Murwillumbah the most outstanding tourist attraction is the world-renowned Tweed River Art Gallery on Mistral Road just south of the town.

Other tourist attractions in area are the Murwillumbah Museum on Queensland Road, the Condong Sugar Mill, Madura Tea Estates on Clothiers Creek Road and Tropical Fruit World at Duranbah.
